Dance for Parkinson's

Citymoves Dance Agency is thrilled to be collaborating with Aberdeen Jazz Festival to bring a Jazz session to their Dance for Parkinson's participants. We look forward to having professional north-east saxophonist Paddy Sax join in-house musician, Gordon Cooper, to the weekly class on Tuesday 19th March - 1:15pm -3:15pm at The Anatomy Rooms. The participants will experience the quintessential jazz sounds of saxophone and piano throughout the class.
The weekly Dance for Parkinson's class is designed for people living with Parkinson’s, their families and carers. No previous dance experience is required and class may be enjoyed seated or standing. Confidence and creativity will be developed, whilst addressing Parkinson’s specific concerns such as: balance, flexibility, coordination, gait and social isolation. Participants are invited to stay for tea/coffee, cake and a blether at the end of the session.
This is a closed session for Dance for Parkinson's participants. If you would like to know more information or be involved with the group, please get in touch with
