Flamenco workshop with the Philip Adie Trio from Seville
Enjoy a free flamenco workshop for guitar, double bass and drums with professional musicians from Seville. This workshop gives you the chance to learn about flamenco and play music from the rich musical culture of Spain. Philip Adie, originally from Aberdeen, studied for 6 years under Paco Peña and has more than 2 decades of experience as a flamenco guitarist. Luis "Chico" Salto has a BA in Music in Jazz double bass. Nacho Megina from Seville has a Professional Degree in Percussion and a Higher Degree in Music specialising in Jazz drums. Ideally, participants would have some basic knowledge of playing their chosen instrument but all are welcome.
Bring a guitar or bass if you have one, or just bring yourself!
