Bringing together all of your favourite big band classics along with some modern twists.  The Cooler will take you on a journey from the early days of swing music right the way up to the present day. From ballads to bond, and Disney to Disco, the Dundee University Big Band has got you covered.  

This year, we are joined by one of Scotland’s most prominent young saxophonists, Matt Carmichael, whose creative melodies and virtuosity will be sure to inspire.

Just like the dance bands of old, you’re encouraged to dust of your dancing shoes, dress to the nines and let loose on the Bonar Hall dance floor.
