Without further ado, we launch the Lagavulin Islay Jazz Festival 2024!

This introductory event is a chance for musicians, audiences, organisers and residents to toast to the success of the 2024 festival and enjoy the first musical treats of the festival. 

Sonically mesmerising with imaginative lyricism, Glasgow vocalist India Blue and Norman Villeroux (bass), shape and mould timbre, light, and shade into joyous resonance. 

On the other end of the musical spectrum, Seonaid Aitken (vocals, violin) pays homage to her favourite jazz vocalist - the ‘First Lady of Song’ - Ella Fitzgerald. Accompanied by Conor Smith on guitar, Seonaid will explore some of Ella’s iconic recordings from her Songbook series and hit singles for Decca Records.
