Drawing on influences from contemporary straight-ahead jazz music, this new body of compositions pays homage to the tradition whilst staying open to new musical possibilities. Time, in all senses of the word, is at the centre of this group with Alyn Cosker and Pete Johnstone laying it down whilst an all-star front line featuring Paul Towndrow, Helena Kay, Chad Mculloch and Matt Carmichael spin improvised stories on tunes such as 'Big Time Blues' and 'Party Time' leading us on a 'No Holds Barred' journey to new vistas.
