Untethered from an accompanying role, virtuoso French guitarist Sébastien Giniaux steps into the spotlight with a solo guitar programme that is sure to inspire. Recognised internationally as one of the very best musicians of the gypsy jazz style, Giniaux is much in demand, and has collaborated in with a long list of world-class artists and ensembles.

The concert, which is titled "BeHappySolo", is described by Giniaux as:

"A space of guitar poetry in which, between personal compositions and improvisation, through jazz, song, classical music, West Africa or even music from the Balkans, I allow myself the time of a concert, with a folk guitar in my hands, to visit with you the music dear to my heart, the music which made me grow as a musician, an instrumentalist, but also as a simple human being whom music has made me happy a thousand times over." 

The concert takes place in the Round Church in Bowmore.
