A 'Free' Breakfast
A unique, free event, featuring a morning of improvised melody and soundscape, with free breakfast treats thrown in. Audience participation, creative conversation and exploration is both welcome and encouraged! The session will be led by special guest Harben Kay, the Award-winning tenor saxophonist who is fast becoming renowned as one of the UK’s most creative and virtuosic jazz artists. They have released two critically acclaimed albums, staged four UK tours and delivered performances at the UK’s most esteemed jazz venues including Ronnie Scott’s, The Royal Albert Hall and The Vortex.
The event includes an 'open stage', so if you have a suggestion for an item to share, such as a poem, or a musical contribution, or a painting, etc that would suit some freely improvised musical decoration, please come along and speak to one of our musicians or get in touch via our 'contact us' form to share your ideas. All ages, ideas and abilities welcome.
