Improvisation Workshop with Norman & Corrie
Scottish improvising duo Norman&Corrie will lead a workshop on improvisation. Topics covered will include their incorporation of traditional Scottish (Shetlandic) melodies and structures into their music, means of abstraction and reimagining source material as well as instrument-specific requirements and suggestions.
It is encouraged that attendees listen to their album “Twa Double Doubles” ahead of the workshop, but this is not mandatory.
