Born in Germany and growing up in England, Simon Herberholz moved to Glasgow in 2019, and quickly found himself playing with a wide range of musicians and artists across different styles including Tao, Nathan Somevi, Modernistic, Bemz, Ari Tsugi and more.

In 2024 Simon released an EP of his own music together with close collaborators Ewan Johnston (Piano), Chun-Wei Kang (Drums) and Ewan Hastie (Bass), inspired by the jazz tradition as well as the space and atmosphere of the surrounding Scottish landscapes.

As of last year Simon lives in NYC studying at the City College New York, aiming to gain a deeper understanding of the jazz tradition which first sparked his passion for music and the saxophone.
