Fair Work Statement - Jazz Scotland
Our Position
Jazz Scotland is committed to the Scottish Government’s Fair Work First policy. We are striving to be an organisation which sees employees engaged in what we do, supported through training and development opportunities, and we promote positive approaches to make Jazz Scotland a flexible and dynamic place to work.
We are clear that sustainable organisational growth can not be achieved without Fair Work principles being prioritised. We are committed to being a workplace that promotes security, respect, effective voice, fulfilment and opportunities both for our staff and, as much is possible, the freelancers with whom we work, and on whom we heavily depend.
Our Situation
We recognize that the foundations of Fair Work must begin with our core board and staff members, extending organically to our interactions with artists and freelancers. We are committed to the actions of our business plan, which we believe are appropriate to the scale of our operations.
