Aberdeen Jazz Festival Youth Band

Aberdeen Jazz Festival Youth meet every Thursday from 5:00pm - 6:30 during term-time at North East Scotland College (NesCol) on Gallowgate, Aberdeen in the Music Room.

Learn more about jazz and improvisation in this fun and inclusive ensemble.

The group is working towards a performance at the 2027 Aberdeen Jazz Festival!

Open to instrumentalists around S1 - S6 (or thereabouts) - participants should already be having lessons on their chosen instrument, but we are open to new players if you're really excited and committed.

Sessions are free and run weekly during the school term from September 17th until March 2027
