🎷 Welcome to the Aberdeen Jazz Festival Youth Band! 🎺

We are super excited to welcome you to our brand new term of the Aberdeen Jazz Festival Youth Band! Here is everything you need to know about joining us.

🤔 What is the Youth Jazz Band all about?

The Aberdeen Jazz Festival Youth Band is a fun place where young musicians come together to play awesome music! Whether you love swing, jazz, funk, or just playing music with other people, this is the place to be.

🌟 What will we do? (The Fun Stuff!)

• Play Great Music: Learn exciting jazz tunes and improvise!

• Build Skills: Improve your instrument skills with help from experienced music tutors.

• Make Friends: Play alongside other young musicians who love music just like you.

• Perform: Get ready to show off what you’ve learned in cool live performances!

📅 When and Where?

• When: Every Thursday from 5:00pm – 6:30pm (during term-time)

• First Session: Thursday, 17th September

• Where: NesCol (North East Scotland College), Gallowgate, Aberdeen

📸 Photos and Videos

Sometimes we like to take photos or record short videos during rehearsals and performances. We use these to celebrate your hard work, share news on our website or social media, or show people how awesome the band is!

• Note for Parents/Guardians: We will always ask for permission before using any photos or videos of you.

✋ It’s Always Your Choice!

• Joining is optional: You only join if you want to!

• You can stop at any time: If you try it and decide it’s not for you, or if you need to take a break, that’s totally okay. You can change your mind and stop coming at any time—no questions asked and no worries!
