Award-winning pianist Fergus McCreadie’s music is captivating; a unique blend of jazz and folk inspired by the natural beauty of Scottish landscapes. His debut album earned him a 2022 Mercury Prize shortlist nomination, the 2022 Jazz FM Instrumentalist of the Year Award, and the 2022 Scottish Album of the Year Award - the first jazz artist ever to be awarded the prize.

In an Islay debut, he'll be exploring improvisation across jazz and classical styles through the music of Brahms. Fergus will perform Brahms’ Op. 10 Ballades, and take them as the musical DNA of his own improvisations around them. In the first performance of this kind in Scotland, this promises to be a unique show, not to be missed.
