AberGaitas Band is a cultural association that since the year 2022 is bringing to Scotland the ‘Gaita Zuliana’: a traditional music genre mostly played in Venezuela around the Christmas and New Year’s celebrations. After well received presentations in the last three years, AberGaitas Band has decided to expand the repertoire with the aspiration to showcase the richness of this genre and other traditional Venezuelan and Caribbean rhythms to the wider community in Aberdeen and Scotland.
