Thank you for purchasing a Festival Pass to the 2026 Caol Ila Islay Jazz Festival. 

The priority booking window is open now until 4pm on Monday 3rd August when bookings open to the general public. We recommend booking your desired programme of shows as early as possible, via email to ana-maria@jazzscotland.com

To help you imagine & plan your trip, above is a map of the island with the venues listed, and below is a new Calender view we're working on. Graphically, it still leaves a little to be desired, but we hope it might help you visualise the concert listings, while our designers are finishing up this years brochure.

Green events are at Caol Ila in Port Askaig, yellow at ICCI, light blue Bruichladdich Hall, Orange at the Malt Mill, Lagavulin, and the others are Gray (The Round Church in Bowmore, the RSPB Center, Laphraoig, and Rhinns Hall Portnahaven).

We've tried to leave suitable time between most gigs such that, farm traffic not withstanding, you as Festival Pass holders can see as much as possible. You can't see everything, but we do think there's multiple ways of enjoying 10-11 concerts over the three days and having an excellent array of jazz across Islay alongside everything the island has to offer. For example, after the launch concert on Friday (645pm-8pm, Graeme Stephen: Orwell), there should be enough time to make the 20 minute journey to the ICCI near Bowmore, for AmphiTrio (830pm). Or, you're welcome to stay for (or come to) Laura Macdonalds 'Islands' concert at Caol Ila (9pm). And both of those should finish by 10pm and allow everyone to make the late concert at Bruichladdich (1030-late).

Both of the Saturday noon Concerts are within a short-ish journey of Fergus McCreadie at Rhinns Hall (2-4pm - thoroughly reccomended). We're working with local providers to ensure lunch can be available should people wish it beforehand.

Then there's an hour until the early evening concert at Bruichladdich (Richard Glassby, 5pm), or time to enjoy some dinner before your night at Lagavulin or Bruichladdich (or both!).

This should allow you to chose your ideal route around the festival - Ana-Maria is available over the next fortnight to help make your plan around your music preferences and other plans, please do message her any questions, and we can't wait to see you this September!
