A vibrant celebration of jazz and blues, rooted in Dundee and shining a light on local and emerging talent alongside visiting artists.

All year round, we support jazz, community and education projects across the city, which culminates in a week long event all across Dundee, every November.

Dundee Jazz Festival Launch Party

The official countdown to this November starts right here in Dundee. To celebrate launching our 2026 festival programme (11–15th November), we’re taking over CANVAS for a full day of live music, local food, and great company. We’re here to champion Scotland’s jazz scene from the ground up, shining a light on brilliant emerging talent alongside established local voices. Whether you’ve been listening to jazz for decades or you’re just looking for a solid Saturday out with the kids, there’s a spot saved for you.

Upcoming Workshops

Dundee Jazz Workshop - Saturday Mornings, 11am

Do you play an instrument or sing? Would you like to learn about jazz music and how to play it?

Come to our Saturday Morning Session!

All ages, levels of ability and experience are welcome.

Taster sessions will be at 11am-1pm on the 20th and 27th of June at Just Bee, Nethergate, Dundee.

No-one turned away: Free for those who need it, with donations of £5 for unwaged and £10 waged.

Our Commuity & Education

Our community programme in Dundee is led by local musician and educator Seth Bennett. You can find creative workshops and events across Dundee all year round by clicking the image below.

His inspiration above all is a love for situations in which everyone involved, musicians and audience, have an equal input into the creation of the music.
