Matthew Kilner Quintet
Saxophonist Matthew Kilner—finalist in the 2023 BBC Radio Scotland Young Jazz Musician of the Year—returns to his hometown once again. Fast becoming a festival favourite, Kilner performs with a first-rate Scottish ensemble featuring Paul Harrison (piano), Graeme Stephen (guitar), Alyn Cosker (drums) and Ali Watson (double bass).
His music blends energetic improvisation with melodic clarity, drawing inspiration from the landscapes and character of North East Scotland.
Expect an exceptional show from a great talent in Scottish jazz.
