Fergus McCreadie Trio

Pianist Fergus McCreadie, one of the most celebrated talents of his generation, closes the festival with a special performance in the atmospheric setting of Queens Cross Church. His music draws deeply on Scottish folk traditions, blending them seamlessly with contemporary jazz.

Joined by his trio David Bowden (Bass) and Stephen Henderson (Drums), they'll be performing music from across their career to date.

Fergus presents music shaped by the rugged landscapes and musical heritage of Scotland. A thoughtful, resonant and beautifully crafted programme—an ideal way to bring the festival to a close.

The sound of Fergus McCreadie proves folk and jazz are entirely the same thing, and always have been.” (At the Barrier, Nov 25)
