Aberdeen Jazz Festival Youth Band is back - every Thursday, 5pm. Starts 17th September.
Fun, free & inclusive - welcoming new members!
Explore jazz and improvisation in a vibrant ensemble. Open to young musicians S1 - S6 (or thereabouts), Sessions are free or by donation and run weekly during the school term from late September - March. Sessions are free or by donation and run weekly during the school term from late September - March, in the Music Room of the NESCol Gallowgate Campus.
Every week the sessions are taught by ear by our lead tutor Neil Birse, and guest professional musicians and tutors from across Scotland, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your musical skills and have fun on a Thursday evening, 5-630pm.
